I was born and raised in North Carolina and possess a Bachelors in English from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and a Masters in Popular Fiction Writing and Publishing from Emerson College. Currently I teach as a Part-Time Instructor at North Carolina A&T State University, teaching English Composition and African American Literature. I also serve as a Adjunct Instructor at Forsyth Technical Community College, teaching English. I also work as a Reviewer for Reedsy Discovery. In 2016, I self published Adventures in Camland, which is available for purchase on this site or on Amazon on the Products page.
